What is the Women V Cancer 100k Your Way challenge?
Women V Cancer 100k Your Way is a fantastic opportunity for people from all walks of life, of all sexes, ages and abilities, to raise vital funds for the Women V Cancer charities, at a time when they need your support more than ever. Challenge yourself to conquer 100km in 10 days for women facing cancer across the UK. Ride. Run. Walk. The choice is yours.
Thousands of awesome people will be challenging themselves to the same distance over the same ten days, so you're never alone. What's more, you can share your progress and check out your fellow challengers' achievements as you go in our event Facebook group and on your personal Women V Cancer 100k Your Way fundraising page. We fully encourage you to post photos, videos and live stream as much as you can and want. The more you share, the more funds and awareness you’re likely to raise for Women V Cancer.
Women V Cancer 100k your way is as much of a mental challenge as it is a physical one. It's about keeping motivated until you complete that hundredth kilometre - and keeping up with our supportive Women V Cancer 100k your way community will massively help you with this. You do you! Do it anywhere in any way at any pace you like. Conquer it all in one day/night or spread it out over the whole ten days.
How can I complete my 100km?
A virtual event means you take control. As long as you, of course, adhere to the social distancing measures currently in place, you can cover your 100km however you like. Cycle. Run. Walk. Scoot. Skip. Row. Swim. Spin. Do it at home or hit the road. Conquer it solo or get your friends, family, neighbours, partners and/or even your dog involved.
You also set your own pace. Choose to spread your 100km over the whole ten days or do it all in one go. Make sure to share your progress on your personal event page and in our Women V Cancer 100k Your Way Facebook group. We can't wait to see your photos, videos and live streams!
Is there a registration fee?
There's no registration fee or minimum sponsorship target. We just ask you to fundraise as much as you can for our three amazing Women V Cancer charities. If you find a target helpful, you could set yourself the target to raise £100, raising £1 for every kilometre you conquer.
